Recovery Centres

Looking for a customised workplace recovery solution?

Disaster strikes when you least expect it. Power cuts or internet failure, fire or flood, gas leaks or severed cables, bomb warnings or explosions – any business is vulnerable, even yours. Maintaining your own fully equipped office space standing idle, just in case of such emergencies is very costly – which is why so many organisations have turned to COIN.

Via our subscription structure, COIN offers customised recovery centres without sky-high investment. You’ll find these at prime locations throughout The Netherlands and Belgium.

Amsterdam and Utrecht

Nearby Amsterdam and Utrecht we have over 1200 recovery workplaces available. Our recovery locations have sufficient parking spots and are nearby public transportation. Workplaces can be available within 2 hours after crisis notification. Starts from 4 workplaces 24/7 available and garanteed for as long you need them.

Equipped based on your requirements

The workplaces are equipped with desktops, your own pc- image and access to your applications and data. Based on your requirements shared or dedicated workplaces can be setup and tested trough.

Workplace Recovery

Will you opt for a dedicated or shared workplace for your workplace recovery? Recovery workplaces at COIN office recovery centers are fully equipped, including data link to your own server environment to let you access your applications. Everything’s designed to have you up-and-running in just a few hours.

Fully equiped workplaces

The recovery workplaces are equipped with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) desktops and can be set-up with your own current image. Your customised COIN solution is tested to ensure there are no nasty surprises should disaster strike. With our extensive telephone recovery solutions, your staff can still be reached by their usual telephone numbers. Even if you have one or several contact centers that require high availability. COIN supplies everything you want and need for your workplace recovery, dependent upon your current IT setup.

Dedicated Workplace recovery

You can opt for dedicated recovery workplaces permanently at your disposal in your own lockable space. Or you can alternatively choose a shared option, under which the workplaces are configured with your own settings as soon as you tell us you need recovery.

A combination of both options is also possible.

War Room

To be able to bring a crisis under control the Crisis Management Team must have all necessary resources at their disposal. Communication is also essential when disaster strikes. Fully equipped ‘war rooms’ are available at COIN recovery centres, crisis spaces equipped with radio, television, one or more Internet-enabled workstations, white board, flip-charts, telephones and a conference telephone.

Fully-equiped crisis war room at recovery centres

The fully-equipped crisis spaces at COIN recovery centres are designed to seamlessly meet the requirements of the crisis management team in the event of disaster. A war room at a COIN recovery centre also serves to ensure that lines of communication with other employees at the recovery centre are short.

Recovery data network

Broadband links connect COIN recovery centres both with each other and with the COIN Communication Centres. These centres are in turn connected to the Internet, to various large data centres in The Netherlands and Belgium, and to the special COIN recovery servers. This means that following disaster, your organisation has at its disposal recovery workstations connected to your own applications and data.

If desired, COIN can supply servers and storage at its data centres either permanently or on demand. In addition, and depending on the situation, our mobile server racks can be installed either at a recovery centre or at a location you designate.

Battle Box

When forced to evacuate following disaster, you’re unable to take anything with you. It is therefore essential to be prepared, with items essential to your business critical processes stored in advance in a safe location.

The COIN Battle Box is specially designed for this purpose. This provides safe storage for items such as a copy of your Business Continuity Plan, contact lists, chargers, (card)readers, codes and letterheads.

The Battle Box is then identified with your name, and fitted with a combination lock.

The Battle Box is kept at the COIN recovery centre, retaining on-hand all the practical items you need to perform your business activities. That’s the practical approach of COIN.

Paper archive

Your paper archive contains documentation necessary to the continuity of your organisation. Safe storage of these papers is thus an element of Business Continuity Management that should not be underestimated. This applies not just to large organisations, such as insurers who sometimes still retain enormous archives of pension entitlements, but also in the broader sense to all documentation not (yet) digitised but which must nonetheless be retained. Think for example of tax authorities’ requirements to retain certain documents. As well as the threat from fire or flood, your archive is also threatened by damp and mildew. Accordingly, COIN offers an additional service that can be included in your Business Continuity Plan: a subscription to the COIN archive service. The benefits of this are:

  • An initial, comprehensive report on the condition of the archives, the environmental factors and risks.
  • An annual inspection of the repository together with a report. A full archive rescue operation should disaster strike, together with a damage report for your insurers.

These companies are allready empowered by COIN. Is yours next?
